Historical dressage
My main goal when riding and training horses is to get a motivated horse who responds to fine aids. I draw inspiration from classical/baroque as well as academic art of riding, in addition to studying the old riding manuals. Personally I use dressage for applied riding - jousting and fencing on horseback. But this type of dressage makes sense for all horses and riders; after all we all strive for lightness and balance. I have experience in training the young horse all the way up to high school movements with the seat as the primary aid. To me, everyone is welcome, regardless of current level or ambitions. I'll gladly help you fine tune your riding for "pleasure riding", or guide you towards using the horse for mounted combat.
Lessons with your own horse
I am available for lessons at my home in Frillesås, south of Gothenburg, or at your place. Price per lesson (45 min) is 400 SEK/40€, plus travel costs if I'm driving to you.
You are welcome to come as a week student, price is 2750 SEK/270€ for Sunday-Friday (one lesson daily Monday-Friday). Your horse gets a box and a paddock, hay is not included. Accommodation for you is available in our guest house at 200 SEK/20€ for a bed or 500 SEK/50€ for a room, per night.

Lessons with a borrowed horse
My spanish stallion Absalon is available for lessons for those with basic experience in riding. You'll get an introduction in riding with the seat and my goal is that you'll be able to use the experience in the training of your own horse. We'll adapt the lessons after your level and work on the things you need the most.
One lesson (45 min) is 750 SEK/73€. It is also possible to come as a week student, price is 3700 SEK/360€ for one lesson daily Monday-Friday.
